Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) Welcome Weekend
CRHP is a FREE weekend retreat that is a parishioner-led experience designed to foster a sense of community among other women of faith. Your faith will grow stronger; you will make new friends; and your spirit will be renewed by attending a CRHP Welcome Weekend. We are excited to announce the dates of the Women’s weekend, May 31-June 1, 2025. New this year, the retreat will take place at the Klug Center at Annunciation Parish Campus. The spacious and beautiful grounds of the Annunciation campus and Klug center will make for a relaxing and peaceful retreat.
Why should you attend?
Women of all ages (18 and older) should attend a CRHP Weekend. Whether you are looking to deepen your spiritual life, become a better version of yourself, make new friendships, or just become better connected at Uptown Catholic, a CRHP weekend is for you. If you have attended a CRHP retreat weekend at another parish, we invite you to attend again and bring a friend! This retreat is for women of all ages. There is something for everyone at a CRHP retreat.
What will happen at CRHP Welcome Weekend?
CRHP is an adult retreat hosted and facilitated by parishioners that takes place over Saturday and Sunday. The retreat will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday and conclude at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. We spend the night on Saturday night, and encourage all women to do so for the total retreat experience. However, if you must go to your home to sleep, you are welcome to return on Sunday morning before sessions begin. A powerful part of the experience includes unplugging and completely removing distractions of everyday life, but we do not want this to discourage attendance. Comfortable sleeping arrangements will be provided at the Klug Center. Details and a packing list will be provided at registration. All programming activities will take place in the Klug Center, Annunciation church and the gymnasium in the Klug Center. Join us for a spiritual renewal that brings women together through faith sharing, fellowship, and community building. The retreat consists of inspirational talks, small group discussions, quiet reflection time, prayer, Mass and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Healthy meals and snacks will be provided over the weekend. Special diets and restrictions are accommodated and there
is no fee for this retreat.

Because each talk was given by someone just like you, and each shared deeply personal
journey that God brought them through. These talks made us, the attendees, laugh and cry. But best of all, they made us become more aware of God’s work in our own lives. We pondered, reflected, and discussed together as small groups. We bonded and became Sisters in Christ in the process. You don’t want to miss this chance. - Tingting
I first encountered CRHP about 37 years ago as a struggling young wife and mother at St.
Columban in Loveland. The stories of the experiences and faith journeys of other women, which are a key part of all CRHP retreats, had a long term positive impact on my life. They helped me experience the reality that I am not alone. That God loves me and other people do to. Because of this I was able to open up and experience life in a happier way. Some of the women I met on those retreats are some of my best friends now many years later. - M.D.
Although I did not know what to expect from the Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) retreat, I did know that I wanted more from my Church life. I attended the weekend with the hope of strengthening my relationship with Jesus Christ, praying more, and finding an ongoing
supportive community of fellowship. CRHP fulfilled my hope and more! I continue to experience God within the loving, caring CRHP sisterhood, resulting from the retreat weekend. I have been blessed. - T.U.
When the announcement for a Retreat was posted, I thought that it sounded like something I wanted to attend. Little did I know, that this Retreat would become such a Blessing to me. Such friendly women telling their life stories. This group became very strong and have stayed together. - M.M.
