Fr. David is asking all the members of the Uptown Catholic Family and Catholic Bearcat to pray and ask the Holy Spirit for divine help. We are facing important decisions for the future of proclaiming our Catholic faith in the local area. Beg the Holy Spirit over the next few months (May - August) to enlighten our hearts and minds, to reveal the pathway forward together, and to avoid any disunity in the body of Christ.  After the time period spent in prayer, I want to Host a Holy Spirit Weekend Retreat for the Parishes in September. We will discuss, pray, and reveal to one another what we have been hearing in prayer. God has all the answers and the Holy Spirit is God's gift to help us to be the Church on fire with all the spiritual gifts needed to build up the Kingdom of God. I invite everyone to use this prayer to the Holy Spirit and pray, pray, pray. I am confident that in listening to our prayers we will find a future plan for our parishes that will lift us up to doing God's will.
